We’ve had a beautiful summer at the lake, but we can’t help looking ahead… because something big is coming in 2026. Our latest renovation project officially kicks off in October, and this one has us grinning ear to ear.
We’re remodeling Cabins 5 and 6 into one fully reimagined two-bedroom retreat, packed with updates that blend modern comfort with the timeless Wambolts charm you love. We love the studio cabins (and we’ll still have cabins 3 & 8) but you’ve asked for more updates and we’ve listened. With the help of some AI image generation, we’ve added some photos to give you a visual idea of what it will all look like!

Bedroom One: A queen bed with lake views — imagine waking up with the loons calling just outside your window.
Bedroom Two: A queen bed plus two twin beds — plenty of space for kids, friends, or extra guests.

This cabin will sleep up to six comfortably — a sweet spot for families, couples, or groups who want space to spread out but still feel connected.
