By booking at Wambolts Cabins - I agree to the following:
Guests are obliged to observe these rules. In the event that a guest is in breach of these rules, Wambolts Cabins have the right to repudiate the agreement on the provision of accommodation services before the agreed period has elapsed. (You’ll be asked to leave early and will not be refunded).
number of guests
I’m limited to the number of guests on my booking. If I need more room, I’ll book more cabins.
bills
I’ll pay my bill before arriving. If I need to leave early, money will not be refunded. If I have to cancel, I’ll get a refund (-$200 rebook fee) if Wambolts cabins can book my time to someone else. I am liable for the cost of the reservation if I cancel within 90 days of arrival and we are unable to re-book the space.
checkin/ checkout
Checkin is at 3:00 pm and checkout is at 9:00am. I understand that there are new guests coming soon that want a clean cabin!
pets
With respect to all our guests, we can’t accommodate pets (Unless you rent the whole property). There are great pet kennel options in Park Rapids!
valuables
Keep your valuables safe. Wambolts cabins are not responsible for the loss of guests' belongings or any other property.
watercraft
There is a limit of one motorized watercraft per cabin. Additional units may be allowed with prior approval. A public access boat launch is available on the north east side of the lake off County 24, approximately one mile from the camp.
be nice
Don’t be a jerk. If you are disturbing the place or / and safety of other hotel guests; you’ll be asked to leave without refund.
quiet hours
Because we would like the resort to be a restful place for all, we require that voices, radios, boom boxes* and other like items be kept at low level at all times and that the general quiet time be observed between 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. We expect and want guests to have a great time, keeping the consideration of other guests in mind at the same time. No late night boisterous campfires.
cabins
Cabins are furnished with beds, dishes, cups and glasses, utensils, limited pots and pans, and each has a microwave, refrigerator and stove. If an accident happens or something breaks, let us know!
firewood
To prevent the spread of diseases and pests such as emerald ash borer, firewood from outside the area is not allowed. Please buy from a local vendor. There is firewood for sale at Emmaville, 2.5 miles west
fire pits
Only enclosed portable fire rings or fire pits are allowed. If used, please do not leave the fire unattended and make sure the fire is completely out and doused with water prior to leaving the area. Please help us protect the resort and follow State DNR fire restrictions based on the current fire index.
parking
Our neighbors don’t want to see your cars from the water. Please do not park vehicles next to the cabins for longer than 30 minutes. Please park in designated parking areas.
deposits
Guests are responsible for damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning. Any charges will be communicated and processed within 2 days after checkout.
no smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the cabins or within 200 ft of the beach or buildings.
swimming
Swim at your own risk - there is no lifeguard on duty. No diving off of docks.
Sauna
All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk. If you have any reservations regarding use, such as medical conditions, underlying health problems, the use of prescription drugs or pregnancy, it is essential that you consult a physician before making a booking. By booking a sauna pass and accepting this waiver you understand the risks and have consulted any necessary medical professionals. You understand and take full responsibility for your own health and well-being. If you are making this booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make all users aware of the terms and conditions and to practice safe sauna use and make sure others aware of what to bring and other useful information.
Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times. This includes: Alcohol, nudity and smoking are not permitted in the sauna. Any jewelry should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning. Sauna sessions of no longer than 30 min at a time; Drinking plenty of water before, during, and after sauna session; Following instructions on how to pour water onto hot rocks? (no lake water); Keep the door shut; Entering and exiting sauna in safe manner; Exit immediately if you feel nausea, dizzy, or uncomfortable; Anyone under the age of 18 using the sauna must be accompanied by an adult.
